What Genre requires more photo retouching?
Creative fiction, this is because you have more room to make the subject and image look unreal with editing and manipulation.
Editorial genre
Paul Strand – Paul Strand would be listed as Editorial genre under architectural & life because of his building shots and candid street photography in black and white.
Creative genre
Richard Avedon – Richard Avedon would is in the Creative genre under Celebrity he takes a lot of studio shots in black and white that are usually off guarded but he doesn't over process his image like David La Chapelle.

Cindy Sherman – Cindy Sherman would be in the Creative Fine Art genre, she does self portraiture with crazy make up with an unreal look - exhibited in galleries and books

What does your photography practice fit with?
I'm still deciding on what too choose at the moment, with pet photography that could be under retail or under fine arts, my make up photography would be under fin arts as it is for myself and I have room too be creative and make the image seem unreal.
