Term 2 Image Research
Portraits
Framing
For framing I want the face to be dead centre. I don't want a lot of negative space.

Lighting
I mainly want to do butter fly lighting because I think it will complement the face more but I might try the others and experiment.

DOF
I want a narrow DOF I don't want the background to be distracting, since I am trying to make my own background that wont be perfectly clear the narrow DOF will come in handy as to not pick up lines and marks in the background.

Location
I will be doing this at home trying to make a semi studio lighting effect.
Composition
The face needs to be the center of the image.

Pet photography
Framing
I haven't quite decided the framing yet, I want to combine 3 images, I think for the fist one I want to have the pet and the owner on either side of the frame near the middle, and for the other two I want the pet to be the focus of the image.

Lighting
I want to try quite defused lighting for the human pet image. I want to try natural light and studio light.

DOF
I want a narrow DOF for the pet only shots but a wide DOF for the human pet shots.
