For these shoots I decided to do portraiture with studio butterfly lighting. I wanted the portrait to look like something from a magazine or a makeup advertisement. I really love doing make up but I didnt just wnat this image to be just of make up I wanted to make the eyes the center piece in the image. I wanted the make up to draw you in with its fun colour right to the eyes. I made the eyes brighter with more clarity, I really wanted them to feel like you can related to the person in the image, i feel like the images 5, 6, and 7 really portray this.I think that the brightness on the face washes out the features and makes her face less detailed in a way that draws you straight to her eyes.
If I could do anything differently I would plan more on what makeup look and expression would have been the best, we did alot of experimenting. I think next time I would meet the moddles first and see what colours would suit them best.
Hi Brianna
ReplyDeleteYour photos are looking great but I'm still not seeing any evaluation of these images. You need to do some writing in each post talking about your approach to the shoot, which images you think are working, any that aren't and why and what you might do next time.
