Vantage point, Fore/mid/background

Description: For these 3 low angle portraits we were meant to use a wide DOF I ended up using a more mid range DOF. The settings I used for all three images were F/5.3 shutters peed 1/1250 and ISO 100

Take three high angle portraits with a narrow DOF
Description: These pictures are meant to be high angle portraits with a narrow DOF. In these exercises I ended up focusing on the angle I was taking the pictures and not the settings I used.

Self directed

Portraits

This iimage is a wide DOF, this is because it has a high fstop of f/22 with a small aperature and  I am on a low angle looking up on the subject makiing this a low angle. f22 shutter 1/125 ISO 200
Low angle with a wide DOF, f/16 shutter 1/400 ISO 200
Low angle, wide DOF this is very close to being a medium DOF. f/11 shutter 1/400 ISO 200
This is a high angle portait, I am above the subject looking down. This is also a narrow DOF as it has a large aperture and a small fstop of 4.5. f/4.5 shutter 1/500 ISO 200
High angle, narrow DOF. f/6.3 shutter  1/200 ISO 200
High angle and narrow DOF. f/4 shutter 1/500 ISO 200

Fore ground portraits

In this photo the subject is in the foreground, he is the closest thing to the camera and the focus is on him this image was taken in a medium wide DOF as the fstop is 14. This picture is too dark Ishould have increase the ISO or changed the settings too combat the small aperture as it doe not let alot of light in. f/14 shutter 1/1600 ISO 200

I tried brightening the image in camera raw, I increase the exposure and the clarity to bring out the details and brighten it up.

This is the same image taken with a narrow DOF you can see the background starting to become fuzzy. The picture seems alot brighter in this image. because the smaller aperture lets more of the light in. f/4.5 shutter 1/1600 ISO 200

Mid ground portraits

f/22 shutter 1/80 ISO 200

Uniform background

In this potrait I tried to keep the background uniform, this was the only spot I could find with even light. This image has a narrow DOF as it has a small fstop of 4.5 f/4.5 shutter 1/125 ISO 200

Worms eye view

Garrus

This is a worms eye view of two pegs my cat was playing with. This is a narrow DOF the background is burry and the subject is the center focus of the image.. f/4.5 shutter 1/2500 ISO 200
I tried this image again with a wide DOF, everything is clear in this image. f/22 shutter 1/125 ISO 200

Streetscape DOF

THis is a high angle street scape photo, I took it looking down on the road with a wide DOF. f/16 shutter 1/320 ISO 200
This is a high angle streetscape with a narrow DOF. I think these images would have show the high angle better If I had taken them at the top of the street, f//4.5 shutter 3200 ISO 200
