Research Task - Lighting high key / low key

Low Key studio Lighting

Low key lighting makes use of dark tones in the image, creating a more dramatic look. Low key increases the contrast in the image. In Low key lighting you need to choose what parts in the image you want illuminated and what in the image you want dark.

High Key studio Lighting

High key blows out the lighting to make things look un naturally bright and gets rid of hash shadows in  a photograph. High key usually makes the photograph seem positive and nice. High key creates bright environments and no harsh shadows.
