Vantage point
Vantage point is how you take a photo and how the viewer feels they are when they view your work. If you are above the subject looking down on them then that would be a high angle, If you were below the subject looking up at them then that would be a low angle. There is also birds eye view looking straight down on a subject from high up and also worms eye view getting on a small subjects level.

Fore/Mid/Background
In photography fore/mid and background are about composition. Fore ground is what is closest in the image and midground is what is in the middle/second closest thing in the image and background is in the back of the image. The fore ground and mid ground are usually where the subject of the main feature of an image is placed.
