I used the ruler straighten tool for this image. I really like this tool the best as I can really line parts in the image up with what I want and I feel It has more control.

Darken the sky

I used the targeted adjustment tool to select the sky, I used auto masking too see where to select and to stay in the edges. I decreased the exposure in the sky to make it appear darker. It doesn't really work for this image as there is lots of reflection of the sky in the windows so I would have to darken it all carefully.

I used the targeted adjustment tool to select the subject, I increase the exposure and the contrast to bring back some of the features and also the highlights to brighten up her clothing.

To make this black and white I used the targeted adjustment tool and selected the background with auto masking on and then I decrease the saturation.

I decreased the oranges because I thought it gave a more contrasted look.

I decreased the blues to bring out the clouds in the sky and increased the yellows to bring out the grass more.
