Week 2 - Aperture - Research Artists - Tanu Gago - Camera use

Tanu Gago

Tanu was born in 1983 in Samoa and raised in Manukau City. He comes from a cultural background, his mother was Irish and Maori and he was adopted by his biological uncles wife. A lot of his photography is inspired buy his life growing up in south Auckland and struggling with his identity.

Thoughts: It looks like he used a small aperture as there is a great D.O.F and everything is very clear.
Thoughts: It looks as though he has used some were between small and medium aperture and the background is slightly less detailed possibly around f16 or f11.

Thoughts: I think he has used a small aperture in this photo, everything is very detailed I think the fstop would be around f32 or f22.

Thoughts: I think he has used small aperture in this picture, everything is reasonably detailed  in this photo.

Thoughts: The subjects are quite detailed in this photo I think he used used in between medium and small aperture in this photo around f16 or f11 in this photo. I like his use of lighting in this photograph, it makes the picture almost seem dream like and unreal with the bring light shining against the subjects.
