Week 4 Line and Pattern - Boyd Webb - Camera use



Boyd Webb 

Boyd Webb was born in 1947 in Christchurch, New Zealand. He went to Ilam school of art in 1968. In 1972 he went to study in London at the Royal College of art. He developed his own style of surreal landscapes in the 1980's and went on to concentrate on a more still life style of photography.

Thoughts: The leading lines in this image is the bottom of the green blanket, it starts from the middle of each side if the picture, they curve and lead the eye to the center if the image.
Thoughts: The leading lines in this image is the water, it leads you to the two people in the image, another leading line ins the lines on the musical instrument, it leads you to the man lying on the floor.
Thoughts: One of the leading lines in this picture is the line separating the image threw the middle between the dirt and the pavement wall. Another leading line is the cord from the heater, it draws your eye too the heater.
Thoughts: The leading lines in this image are the walls and the lines on and below the walls. It leads your eye the the person on the floor and down from the negative space.
Thoughts: The leading lines in this image is the outside of the blue sheet, it leads you to the books and other objects.
Thoughts: The leading lines in this picture is the lines between the white objects it draws you to the person hanging from the ceiling.
